Cat Miners: Idle Tycoon Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026.

1. Operator and scope

Multicast Games Limited provides Cat Miners: Idle Tycoon for Android (com.multicastgames.catscuteminer). This separate policy describes this game's information practices, for its intended audience aged 13 and older.

For privacy questions, purchase support or a request concerning a child, contact support@multicastgames.com. Our website is multicastgames.com.

2. Age eligibility and protected play

The game is intended for players aged 13 and older. Protection for a selected younger or unknown age does not expand this intended audience.

Versions 0.1.3 and later start gameplay without mandatory age-selection or analytics-consent screens. Version 0.1.5 introduces automatic basic AppMetrica gameplay measurement, described in section 5. Opening the Privacy Policy or enabling analytics in settings is not a prerequisite for this measurement. Versions 0.1.3 and 0.1.4 keep optional analytics off until the relevant settings are saved.

Players can voluntarily open Settings → Analytics & privacy. In version 0.1.5, basic AppMetrica measurement can be disabled or enabled there without selecting an age. Additional services have separate controls and may require a neutral age category; the game does not request a name or full date of birth. Selecting 16 or older does not enable Adjust or Meta: these providers remain off until separately selected and saved. Cancelling the screen leaves existing settings unchanged. Choosing an older category gives no extra reward.

Players selecting under 13, 13–15, or prefer not to say, and players with an unknown or unreadable age record, receive protection for the additional services:

The age category and saved analytics preferences are retained separately from progress. Children are not asked to enable additional optional services. There is no advertising opt-in in the first release. Essential purchase processing, described below, is separate.

3. Information on the device

The game stores progress, inventory, currencies, settings, age and privacy choices, local backups or restart archives, and records used to prevent duplicate purchase and reward delivery. Its diagnostic logger records service states and error codes in memory and Android's system log, without receipts, passwords or account identifiers.

The payment system can store a randomly generated app-installation identifier, purchase-service session credentials and delivery records. This installation identifier is generated by the app; it is not the Android advertising ID, a phone number, IMEI or a hardware serial number. Session credentials use Android encryption and are kept outside the app's normal backup location.

Android's app-storage controls can remove local data. Resetting progress is not a data-deletion request: age protection, purchase information and local archives can remain. Removing local data does not erase Google's or our server records and can prevent this installation from recovering unfinished purchases.

4. Purchases and essential processing

Real-money purchases are optional. Google Play handles checkout and payment credentials; we do not receive card numbers or bank-account details.

For purchase processing, the game uses an app-installation identifier and a game-specific guest-account identifier. The game sends the original Google Play purchase receipt to Multicast's validation service over HTTPS. The service also processes product, order and transaction identifiers, purchase tokens, price and currency, and delivery or recovery state. Network services receive the connection's IP address when processing requests.

Access to purchase-service credentials and purchase records is restricted to authorized systems and staff. Multicast's purchase and hosting services use these records for authentication, validation, delivery, duplicate prevention, unfinished-order recovery, fraud prevention and purchase support. A child's purchase records are not sent to optional analytics providers for advertising or profiling. Google Play's billing services can connect to obtain product information and unfinished purchases, independently of the optional analytics and advertising choices.

A parent or guardian should supervise a child's purchases and configure Google Play approval settings. An in-game purchase access check does not verify parental identity or replace parental permission required by law; it is not consent to advertising or optional analytics.

5. Basic gameplay measurement and additional services

Basic AppMetrica measurement from version 0.1.5

AppMetrica starts automatically when the game launches, unless disabled in the saved settings. It measures app sessions, foreground playtime, progression, virtual-currency activity and interactions such as opening the store. Gameplay event parameters do not contain names, email addresses, birth dates, payment receipts, passwords or purchase tokens.

Before activation the game disables AppMetrica advertising-identifier tracking. Device-location collection, automatic purchase-revenue collection, crash reporting and automatic app-open/deeplink tracking are also disabled. This does not make the SDK identifier free: AppMetrica still processes app and device information, service-generated installation/device identifiers, usage events and the connection's IP address. The service can derive an approximate country or region from the IP address. These technical identifiers are distinct from a name or advertising ID.

Players can stop future AppMetrica sending in Settings → Analytics & privacy → AppMetrica, then save settings. This control does not require age selection or opening a policy page. Previously saved explicit refusals from eligible older players are retained during the update. Re-enabling measurement is optional. Disabling measurement does not itself delete data already received by the service; contact us for access or deletion assistance.

Monetary purchase-revenue measurement remains limited to eligible players who have selected 16 or older, saved their settings and have AppMetrica enabled. It uses verified transaction data; protected players' purchase-revenue records are excluded. Essential purchase validation remains separate.

Additional optional services

Only players selecting 16 or older can choose Adjust or Meta measurement. Their choices start off; declining them does not prevent ordinary play or change the basic AppMetrica preference.

Depending on the service and choices involved, these additional services can process app and device information, IP addresses, service-generated identifiers, activity events and eligible transaction details. Adjust and Meta advertising-ID collection is disabled by the game.

Eligible older players can revisit Settings → Analytics & privacy → Additional optional services to stop future collection by Adjust or Meta. Earlier gameplay events are not backfilled to a newly enabled provider. Withdrawing a choice does not automatically delete information already sent; contact us for deletion assistance.

The first release has no advertisements, ad offers, advertising opt-in, ad-revenue measurement or active advertising provider. AppLovin MAX and advertising networks are deferred to a later release. Introducing advertising requires updated disclosures and the applicable safeguards before activation.

Google describes its platform practices in the Google Privacy Policy. Provider notices are available from Adjust, Meta and Yandex / AppMetrica.

6. Retention

Local data remains until removed through the relevant app or Android controls; some reset archives and essential purchase or privacy records are retained as described above.

Server purchase-record retention is tied to order authentication and delivery, recovery or support, fraud prevention, and applicable legal, tax or accounting obligations. When records are no longer required for these purposes, they are deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law. An unresolved purchase or a legal retention duty can prevent immediate deletion of the affected transaction records.

7. Requests from players, parents and guardians

Our studio handles privacy requests through the support contact below, including requests concerning purchase records. You can also use our data request page.

To request access, correction or deletion of information concerning you or a child in your care, email support@multicastgames.com, identifying the game and describing the request. An order reference may help locate purchase records. Do not send passwords, card details or a child's full date of birth.

We may need proportionate information to establish that a request concerns the right records and the person entitled to make it. Legal retention duties or an unresolved purchase issue may limit immediate deletion. You can also ask us to explain which records remain and why. Protected users' ordinary play does not depend on agreeing to optional collection.

8. International processing and rights

Services can process information outside your country. Applicable privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and withdrawal of consent. Contact us to exercise a right or raise a concern about a child's information. Where applicable, you may also contact the relevant data-protection authority.

9. Updates

Updates will identify the effective version of this game-specific policy. Changes requiring a new permission or consent must be handled before the affected optional processing begins.
